Tiellar Mitchell is the king of the heap in the Joe Mama’s 4/6 Cylinder Enduro 75 lap event
Week 17 of the 56th consecutive season of racing at the Ridge.

For Immediate Release BRS-08262023-1

The Dead River Co. Inc. feature winners for August 26th: Josh Sunn in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds; Matt Lashua in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets OFF, High Country Dispensary Late Models Todd Dunham; LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks OFF; Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners: Logan Martin, Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro Tiellar Mitchell; WYKR Sprint Cars of New England “the Professor” Chris Donnelly.
In the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds Josh Sunn joins Jason Gray in the repeat winner club with Gray posting five wins so far in 2023. Sunn came from mid pack went to the outside and set the car on rails to cruise to his second win of the season. He was joined by Mike Ryan who crossed the line in second and Melvin Pierson who joined the pair coming home in third. James Fadden and Jason Gray completed the top five.
The second triple crown of the season is scored by Matt Lashua in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes as he won his heat race, the semi/dash feature, and the main event. His three-week average put him in the front starting position for the heat and feature, so the only task on hand was to not look back. He was able to hold off Cooper Hodge who takes home second and Michael Danforth who joined the pair in victory lane. Tim Hodge on his quest to dethrone the current points leader Ryan Christian comes home fourth with Josh Harington rounding out the top five.
The Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets were OFF and return to action on September 2nd.
Todd Dunham coming from seventh on the grid makes it to the front in the High Country Dispensary Late Models to beat out Matt Lashua for the win. Lashua held on to second with Scott Heath joining the pair in victory lane. Rob Rugg and Kelly Miller Sr completed the top five.
The LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks were OFF and return to action on September 2nd.
And the crowd went wild for nineteen and three quarters laps. It was all female power with Katie Burroughs leading the field for yes nineteen and three quarters laps in the Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners. Lapped traffic would be her undoing as she was caught up in it coming to the checkers allowing Logan Martin to take advantage of the break he needed to beat her. Burroughs got through the lapped traffic and made it home in second with Hayden Bishop taking third. Shane Stygles and Keith Mansur completed the top five.
An impressive field of machines took the green for the Joe Mam’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro 75 lap event and offered plenty of thrills and spills for the crowd. When the checkers waved it was Tiellar Mitchell who is scored as the man who is the survival of the fittest. Mitchell would be the only driver to make it 75 times around with second and third getting it done with 74 laps. Ryan Sayers last year’s champ is one of those drivers as he takes home second with Jacob Hall-Larson joining the pair in victory lane crossing in third. Scott Dowland and Trevor Mears rounded out the top five.
In the WYKR (when at the Ridge) Sprint Cars of New England “the Professor” Chris Donnelly continues to dominate as he takes home his third checkers of the season beating out Jacob Williams and Troy Comeau. Will Hull crosses the line in fourth with Nicholas Comeau taking home fifth. SCoNE will return to the Ridge for one more event in 2023 on September 16th.
