Bear Ridge Speedway is gearing up for their 57th year of consecutive racing with an “Elms at the Helm”. The Ridge continues to be the best source of great inexpensive high-quality entertainment for all ages and families.

The DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds drivers are hoping they can dethrone the past four seasons champion Jason Gray as they get set to welcome two DIRTcar Eastern Series events. Gray is on a mission to make it five championships in a row and break the tie with Brother Eastman who won four in a row in 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974. The competition in this division continues to be edge of your seat excitement as anyone in the top ten could easily see themselves crowned the champ. Will this be the year that Max Dolliver finally gets the crown, or will Robert Tucker make it happen while holding of the likes of Richie Simmons, DJ Robinson, Jeremy Huntoon, Tim Churchill or Chris Huntington. Don’t rule out Jordan Fornwalt a past champ who is rumored to be returning to the Ridge and will be anxious to reclaim the crown! A rookie breaking in the Modifieds, but no stranger to the Ridge or consecutive championships himself will be Tad Kingsbury, and it is expected to see him shake heads as he shoots for rookie in this division.

In the DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes Tim Hodge is hoping he can hold off the competition to claim his second championship in a row, but will have to accomplish the feat while holding off the hard fought challenges of, Matt “Hoss” Ellsworth, Bob Shepard, Ricky Sanville, and Ali Pushee to name but a few of the drivers who on any given night could grab the checkers putting them in position for the crown. 2024 will see a father son team competing in the Coupes as son AJ Pushee will be competing for rookie of the year and seeing if he can show dad Ali how it is done. Rob Williams will be back in the saddle again this year in Coupe, the division. he has always dreamed of competing in at the Ridge.

The Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets numbers are looking strong this year, with several drivers already talking about being the one on top at the end of the season. Will this year’s champion once again come from the Matczak stable or will the new young guns from the Miller Stable be able to have a banner year and claim the gold for their car owner? Chris Murray in his first year in a Midget in 2023 almost made it look easy as he claimed the championship, and one can rest assured that he is looking to make it two in a row, so let the battles begin on opening day!

Also returning will be the High County Dispensary  Late Models along with the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stockers, the Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners, the Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro Series, and the Sting Vintage Race Cars Buster Kathan 13 Lap Semi Feature events.
