For Immediate Release                                                                                                                                              BRS-07022022-1

The Pellerin Auto Parts, Auto Body, Automotive feature winners of the 55th consecutive racing season in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds madness Segment one Josh Sunn; Segment two Melvin Pierson; Segment three Josh Sunn; Overall winner Matt Lashua, Jeremy Hodge in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; USAC DMA Midgets Josh Sunn, Matt Lashua in the R&L Auto Towing and Recovery Late Models, Lucas Wheeler in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks; Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners Feature #1 Kevin LaBree Feature #2 Devon Spinks.

With over ten thousand dollars in lap and purse money on the line for the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds there was plenty of excitement for the fans. The visions of all that cash on line led for a bit of a rough start in the first segment, but once the competitors settled down it was edge of seat racing. Consistency and level headedness would be the key to come out on top after three thirty lap segments, and it would be Matt Lashua who would have the most. He was able to beat out a three-way tie for second to grab the win making his night a double header win. The three-way tie between Josh Sunn Robert Tucker and Jason Gray is broken by how they crossed the line in the final segment. Josh Sunn getting the win in the final segment put him in the second-place spot overall and Tucker’s third place finish in the final segment put him in third in the overall ahead of Gray who finish the segment in fifth scoring him overall in fourth. Jordan Fornwalt rounded out the top five for the overall

Jeremy Hodge finally gets the win in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes making him the sixth different winner in the division. He was able to hold off Ricky Sanville and Tad Kingsbury both coming from deep in the pack to set a challenge for the win. Hodge would have nothing of it and held strong to keep it for himself. Sanville crossed in second with Kingsbury claiming the final victory lane spot. Jason Horniak takes home fourth with Cody Gregoropoulos rounding out the top five.

Josh Sunn gets his second win in the USAC DMA Midgets taking the spot from Seth Carlson early and never looked back, beating out Seth Carlson who comes home in second and Brandon Piastka crossing the line in third. Justin Sheridan and Daniel Piastka completed the top five. The next event for the USAC DMA Midgets is July 30th.

Matt Lashua had plenty of seat time competing in both the Mods and the R & L Auto Towing & Recovery Late Models, and we are sure he was plenty tired when all done, but it was all worth, as he takes home the top prize in both divisions. In this one the points battle is a tight one with only one point separating him from Ryan Christian> Lashua gets the win here with Christian coming home one spot short in second. Kelly Miller Sr. joins them in victory lane with Todd Dunham and Tyler Tremblay rounding out the top five.

Lucas Wheeler is methodically slowly and steadily widening his points lead in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks as he grabs his third win of the season. He beat out Garrett Given in his first appearance at the Ridge and Jesse Dunham how crossed the line in third. Garrett Brown and last week’s feature winner John Fields completed the top five.

Kevin LaBree adds his name to the growing list of winners in the Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners, crossing the line ahead of Chase LaFoe and Katie Burroughs her fourth victory lane visit. Jacob Joslin and Cary Hunter closed out the top five. In the second feature Devon Spinks scores his fourth win of the year depriving Spencer Braley of a chance at a second win and Kevin LaForest who has yet to grab the gold this year. Last week’s feature winner Hayden Bishop crosses the line in fourth with Travis King rounding out the top five

Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods The next event for this great series will be July 30th.

The Pellerin Auto Pro Fours took to the track with a couple of the regular Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners showing them the way around the track. At the checkers Shane Stygles is scored the win with Ashton Jamieson coming home in second and Jesse Durkee in third. Josh Ruel and Dave Bill rounded out the top five.
