Jason Gray wins 3rd DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds
Seth Calson wins the USAC DMA Midgets

For Immediate Release BRS-071820-1

Twin State Ford of St Johnsbury VT feature winners were: Jason Gray in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Jason Horniac in the DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, Seth Carlson USAC DMA Midgets, John Neddo in the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models, Tyler Terry in the LaValley’s Building Supply Dirt Stockers, and Buddy Welch in the Peanuts Auto Four Cylinders.
In the DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds Jason Gray once again comes from the final qualifying position capitalizing on some early lap cautions to use the restarts to make his way to the front and claim his third win of the season. Richie Simmons made his way to the pole position holding on until Gray knocked on his door on lap twenty-nine. Richie watched his chance at a win slip away as Gray cruised on to claim the checkers. Matt Lashua was the final one to complete the victory lane trio. Todd Buckwold and Jordan Fornwalt completed the top five.
The Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes was full of happy faces, with your feature winner and runner up having their best appearance to date. Jason Horniac coming from the third row was able to get Bob Shepard and move to the front for the win. Shepard held on for the bridesmaid position with Josh Harington coming home in third. Melvin Pierson and Jeremy Hodge completed the top five. Thomas Placey after flipping in his heat race was able to start the race from last and work his way up to the 8th place position.
Some familiar faces were back in action for the USAC DMA Midgets, with one doing very well, one being a hero surrendering his machine for the feature, and one who it seems if it weren’t for bad luck would probably have none it feels like. The man on the move was Seth Carlson who came from the tenth position, worked his way to the front, surviving the cautions to come home for the win, Justin Sheridan crossed the line in second with Manny Dias having one of his best finishes taking the final victory lane spot. Rookie Brandon Piastka and old-time veteran Jeff Horn rounded out the the top five. Horn was the one who faired the best for the familiar faces returning. Adam Whitney the worst breaking before the evening even started, and Joe Krawiec the hero surrendering his machine to Justin Phillips.
The C.A. Miller Limited Late Models and LaValley’s Building Supply Dirt Stockers had a combined field of thirteen cars for their main even, although eighteen were in the pits to start out the night. Mechanical problems both groups dropping their car counts to take the green for the feature. John Neddo grabbed the win for the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models with Todd Dunham and Nicholas Longley joining him in victory lane. Tyler Tremblay and George Osgood, doing it the hard way with no power steering rounded out the top five. Tyler Terry in his first appearance gets the win in the LaValley’s Building Supply Dirt Stockers with Michael Wright another newbie and Kaleb Shepard completing the victory lane trio. Lucas Wheeler crossed the line in fourth less than a hair width behind Shepard with Troy Prentice completing the top five.
They seem to be coming out of the word work to compete in the Peanuts Auto Four Cylinders, with thirty strong on hand for the main event. The number one objective for this many cars is to make damn sure you get qualified. Jason Porter coming from the final qualifying spot relegated to last weeks feature winner worked his way to victory lane, but was only able to make itto the third spot. Buddy Welch and Owen Carbee were the ones fighting each other to come out on top, at the end Welch was the one to grab the win with Carbee taking the 2nd place spot. Bobby Bell and Zach Audet completed the top five.
