Bear Ridge Speedway “the fastest dirt track in Vermont” is proud to announce the return of weekly racing series and all the division sponsors for 2018 our 51st consecutive season of racing.
“99ROCK wfrd” is back as Bear Ridge Speedway’s weekly racing series sponsor, Heath and Chris are excited to be returning to Ridge and look forward to promoting the best weekly racing in the region!
Sabil & Sons will once again be billed as the premier sponsor with their name waving on the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds. Sabil & Sons has had a long relationship with the Ridge, and still is proud to be the sponsor of the Old Timers race nigh and Lap counter sponsor.

Wells River Chevrolet will be returning as the sponsor of the other premier division the DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes. These two divisions will once again be sanctioned by DIRTcar and are setting up to offer some great racing action for the fans.
Not only will there be new faces, as well as last year’s contenders on hand, there will also be the return of some “seasoned” veterans, who will once again be seen doing battle in this division. The Coupes have always called Bear Ridge Speedway their home, and this year will be no exception. Will their numbers exceed 20 on a weekly basis as they have in the Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds? Mark your calendars for every Saturday night starting May 5th to find out for yourself!
Laquerre’s Sports will be returning as the USAC DMA Midgets division sponsor, as well as C.A. Miller who will be sponsoring the Limited Late Models, Weglarz Property Service the Four Cylinders, State Farm Mike Estrada in on board again for the 4/6 Cylinder monthly Enduros.
Everyone is anxious to see the 2018 season, the Ridge’s 51st consecutive to kick into gear, which will begin this year with the 17h annual Upper Valley car show on April 28th located once again at the Fireside Inn in W Lebanon from 10:00 to 1:00. Weather permitting the track will be open for a practice session exclusively for the cars in attendance for the complete show. The annual car show at the Jiffy Mart ~ Bradford Mini Mart on Saturday May 5th will be followed by practice session in the afternoon. The 99ROCK wfrd weekly racing season will then see weekly competition in all five divisions starting that same night May 5th. Racing will kick into gear at 6:00 pm(ish), based on track conditions.
You will be able to hear all the highlights from the week before and what is coming up every Friday morning from 6:30 to 7:00 on WYKR.
Fans, don’t forget to get your season pass to be able reserve your seat behind the grandstands! The 2018 fans will see reserved seating available in the general grandstands, available exclusively to season pass holders. There will be a limited number of spots available to fans who want to bring in their own chairs to sit directly behind the grandstands in designated spots only. Season pass holders will also benefit from being able to enter the grand stands fifteen minutes before the gates are open at 3:00 to the rest of the public. These spots are available for sale now. Season pass forms with reserved space requests are available for down load on the web. The season pass price is $180.00 the reserved seat is just $50.00 more. Both added together are less than paying weekly.
Season passes are available for general admission. Adults is $180.00, seniors and teens $150.00. 2016 membership and car owner applications are now available on line or by calling 603/222-4052.
2018 driver and crew membership applications are now available on the website. Be sure to get yours sent in early to beat the lines on opening day. To be eligible for the Bear Ridge Speedway points fund, and recognized at the annual awards banquet, drivers must hold a 2018 Bear Ridge Speedway or DIRTcar license, compete in the required number of events and run on track designated tires as indicated in the rule book.
The price of a regular show general admission (front gate) ticket for adults (ages 17 to 61) is $10.00 a person and children 11 and under $2.00. Teens 12 to 16 and seniors 62 and older is $8.00. Military Discounts are available at $2.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2018 license holders is $20.00. Non-license holders are $25.00 (both prices are in addition to the front gate ticket.)
The 2018 kid’s club membership is only $12.00 per child, infant to 11 years old, ($10.00 with front gate ticket stub), and once you are a member you get in free the rest of the season!
Bear Ridge Speedway is as an alcohol-free family friendly entertainment spot, with our goal to make each experience at the Ridge better than the last. We continue to offer the best source of good inexpensive high-quality entertainment for families.
Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Racing begins at the famous “6:00-ish” start time starting Saturday May 5th.
