Twin State Ford night at the Ridge is the second victim to lose to mother nature.

For Immediate Release                                                                                                                                              BRS-071701-21

Weather claims another race at the Ridge which was to be sponsored by Twin State Ford. The added hard rains coming in midafternoon and the already extremely wet conditions, forced promotors C.V. “Butch” & April May Elms to cancel the racing activities scheduled for the evening. It has always been our intent to do everything we can to get the show in for the competitors and the fans, it is still disappointing to have to pull the plug on any of our events, said Butch. The Twin State Ford sponsorship night will be moved to a later date, and once confirmed we will update our schedule.

Coming up this Saturday July 24th sponsored by Lucky’s Trailer Sales is our next heavily anticipated big event for the 2021 99Rock Racing season at the Ridge. The Empire State Sprints (ESS) are ready to invade the Ridge with the first ever show this side of the Green Mountains. Local contenders and past champions such as Will Hull and Chris Donnelly will be here to help show these New York and Pennsylvania drivers their way around the infamous quarter mile clay oval. Will one of our hometown heroes be able to take home the crown or will it be a first timer to tackle the Ridge? Be sure to be here Saturday night July 24th to see first hand!

In addition to the ESS event we will be featuring the DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds, DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes, LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, and the Peanuts Auto LLC Four Cylinders. The USAC DMA Midgets and CA Miller Limited Late Models will be back in action on July 31st, which will also be the night of our next Sting Vintage Race Cars 4/6-cylinder Enduro.

Remember in today’s society we could all use a little more family entertainment, and the Ridge is your best place to be for just that. The admission price is more than reasonable; the show top-notch, the food superior, and the family friendly atmosphere is just what you are looking for. We STRONGLY encourage if you are not well or have been recently exposed, to stay home, to help us keep everyone safe. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and working with us, to be able to provide the best place for your entertainment, while keeping everyone safe!

Be sure to tune in to hear April May and Butch as they join Stephen John for all the highlights of Bear Ridge Speedway from the week before and what is coming up every Friday morning from 6:45 to 7:00 on WYKR.

SPECIAL admission pricing for July 24th general admission grandstand (front gate) tickets for adults, teens and seniors is $18.00 a person and children 11 and under $2.00. Military Discounts are available at $2.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2021 license holders is $30.00.
