Bear Ridge Speedway is ready to kick off its 50th year of racing with an action-packed schedule that will surely put the fans on the edge of their seats each and every week.

The first glimpse and meet and greet will be the shows of which Bear Ridge Speedway will be present at. For those of you from the south you will find us at our booth at the Frank Maratta Auto & Race-A-Rama Show March 10th-12th at the Big E in West Springfield Ma with a suite of racecars that will be competing in 2017 at the Ridge. Then for those of you to the north you can catch the famed #6 at the Hanover Home Life Expo in Hanover NH March 17th-19th where kids of all ages can get their picture taken in the race car. After that we will have a short break to be able to begin getting the track ready for opening night May 6th. April 29th will see us back into show mode when you can find all the cars and stars ready for competition and hoping to be able to get in an extra practice before opening night for our 16th annual Upper Valley car show being held once again at the Fireside Inn (behind LaValleys) in West Lebanon NH from 10:00 to 1:00. After the show for participants only, weather conditions permitting, there will be a test and tune at the Ridge from 2:00 to 4:00.

Saturday May 6th the gates will swing open for our 50th consecutive season of racing. The festivities will start in down town Bradford for our annual Bradford car show in the field between the Bradford Jiffy Mart and the NAPA Store from 10:00 to 1:00. Fans will be able to judge on the sleek machines to determine the best three in each division. From there you can head up the hill to watch practice from 2:00-4:00 and then the track will start its regular programing for the night’s activities. Opening night once again is sponsored FMS NAPA Auto Parts of Bradford VT.

The price of a regular show general admission (front gate) ticket will remain the same as it has over the past decade for adults (ages 17 to 61) at $10.00 a person and children 11 and under $2.00. Teens 12 to 16 and seniors 62 and older will be able to enjoy the racing in 2017 at just $8.00. The price of the back gate (pit entrance) will also remain the same for Bear Ridge Speedway 2017 license holders and non-license holders. For Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2017 license holders the back gate (pit gate) will is $15.00 and non-license holders is $25.00 (both of these prices are in addition to the front gate ticket.) In order to be eligible for the Bear Ridge Speedway points fund, and recognized at the annual awards banquet, drivers will have to hold a 2017 Bear Ridge Speedway or DIRTcar license, compete in the required number of events, and run on track designated tires as indicated in the rule book.) You do the math, in today’s economy you will be hard pressed to find entertainment that is perfect for the whole family at less than these rates. Racing is the number one spectator sport in the country with over 750 dirt facilities running nationwide, so if you haven’t been up to the Ridge in a while or at all why not check it out in 2017. Remember in today’s society we could all use a little more family entertainment, and the Ridge is your best place to be for just that. The admission price is more than reasonable; the show top-notch, the food superior, and the family friendly atmosphere is just what you are looking for. 2017 driver and crew membership applications will be in the mail shortly and are now available on the website where you can download them. Be sure to get yours sent in by March 1st for early return savings. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Racing begins at the famous “6:00-ish” start time starting Saturday May 6th.
