Bear Ridge Speedway "the fastest dirt track in Vermont" is once again proud to announce the return of the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds VP Racing Fuels “East Region Series” to the Ridge in 2026. 2026 will mark the fourteenth year that the DIRTcar Banner has waved over Bear Ridge Speedway. We couldn’t be prouder to be a part of the organization and be given an opportunity for our drivers to be recognized on a national level and be host to an East Region series event for the Sportsman Modifieds, said Promoter Butch Elms.
The first event of the series is scheduled for April 18th at Lebanon Valley Speedway, West Lebanon NY, Airborne Speedway Plattsburgh NY will host event number two of the series on May 14th. The third date of the series will be right here at home, Bear Ridge Speedway on May 23rd and the final event at Glenridge Motor Sports Park Fultonville NY on July 5th.
Knowing that several of the Ridge drivers will be strong contenders for the overall championship of this series, these are must see events. Be sure to check the web site and our face book page for more information about this series.
The Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds put on a great show weekly at the Ridge and being able to host a series event at the hidden ¼ mile clay oval gem in the hills of Vermont is truly an honor. Several of the legends of the Ridge will be competing in the series, making the trek to the other three events.
Everyone is anxious to see the 2026 season, the Ridge’s 59th consecutive to kick into gear on May 2nd, and you will be able to hear April May and Butch as they join Stephen John once again for all the highlights of Bear Ridge Speedway from the week before and what is coming up every Friday morning from 6:45 to 7:00 on WYKR 101.3 radio waves or on the world wide web at www.wykr.com.

2026 driver and crew membership applications are now available on the website. Be sure to get yours sent in early to beat the lines on opening day. Get your application in today, to ensure your car number for 2026. Enduro numbers will be assigned at the first event. To be eligible for the Bear Ridge Speedway points fund, and recognized at the annual awards banquet, drivers must hold a 2026 Bear Ridge Speedway or DIRTcar license, compete in the required number of events, and run on track designated tires as indicated in the rule book.
The price of a regular show general admission (front gate) ticket for adults (ages 16 to 61) is $15.00 a person and children 11 and under $2.00. Teens (12 to 15) and seniors 62 and older are $13.00. Military Discounts are available at $5.00 off for those with a valid ID.
The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2025 license holders is $30.00.
Non-license holders are $40.00 (both prices include the front gate ticket.)
Bear Ridge Speedway is an alcohol-free family friendly entertainment spot, with our goal to make each experience at the Ridge better than the last. We continue to offer the best source of good, inexpensive high-quality entertainment for families.
Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Racing begins at the famous “6:00-ish” start time every Saturday starting in May through September.
