2025 Champions officially declared for the 95.3 The Wolf weekly Racing Divisions at the Ridge
For Immediate Release BRS-09202025-1
We wish to congratulate your 95.3 107.1 the Wolf weekly racing series division champions: Jason Gray for the 6th consecutive year in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Michael Danforth Jr for the 2nd year in a row in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; Travis Shinn and Bryan King in the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modifieds Limited; Chris Murray in the Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets were off; Kelly Miller Sr in the High Country Dispensary Late Models; Tyler Fellows in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks; and Zach Audet in the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat Ridge Runners
Feature winners of the 58th consecutive season race week twenty General Auto Salvage night were Jason Gray in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds and Jason Gray in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; Chris Murray in the Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets; Tyler Fellows in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks; Kevin LaForest in the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat Ridge Runners. Doug Boucherin the Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro series
It is official Jason Gray has secured his sixth consecutive division championship in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds. Gray was the only driver who had locked in the championship crown going into the final night, but for Gray it is not just about the points, it is about the racing and racing to win. He would put an exclamation point on his season by sweeping the night with setting fast time and the win for the mods and later the win in the Coupes. The extra distance race with twenty-six competitors taking the green, and only a few cautions early in the event and eventual lapped traffic didn’t deter Gray from getting his fourth win of the season. Max Dolliver once again finds himself on the out side looking in as he finishes second to Gray both in fast time and victory lane spots and for the third year in a row second to Gray in the championship battle. With a smile he said he will be back to try again in 2026, and we know someday he will succeed. Matt Lashua comes home in third and the final victory lane spot with Kevin Chaffee and Melvin Pierson rounding out the top ten.
A story book tale for the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes 2025 division champion. Michael Danforth, not even 18 years old yet has raced three years in the Coupes with the first year seeing him as rookie of the year and his tenth-place finish in points to back-to-back championships. Danforth set fast time, beating out his number one contender Terry Williams by .166 of a second. He would pull the number eight for the invert putting him back in the fourth row to start. Danforth would only make it up to fifth by the end of the fifty laps. Tonight, Jason Gray is once again the winner with Jason Horniac falling one spot short of a win for the 2025 season. Matt Lashua, doing double duty took home third with Ali Pushee in fourth.
The Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets ran their end of season Monza style event with three segments consisting of 10/15/20 laps. As with madness nights the overall finish and victory lane is determined by the combined finishes of the segments. For segment one Chris Murray took advantage of his starting position from the time trials invert and scored the win with Brandon Piastka in second and brother Daniel in third. Segment two was lined up from an invert of segment one’s finish with Matt Takker dominating the event. He would take the checkers with Chris Murray tight behind in second and Brandon Piastka in third. Segment three was all Will Hull who set sail on the field leaving Matt Tanner and Brandon Piasta in his dust. The combined overall was Chris Murray taking home the win and his second track championship Matt Tanner is third with Brandon Piastka in third. Will Hull and John Forlano rounded out the top five. We would like to congratulate the top three at the NHMS Dirt Duels Jacob Perry, Brandon Piastka and Chris Murray. Murray and Piastka made a weekend of racing coming to the Ridge on Saturday night for their final event of the season once again making it to victory lane. Thank you, Jacob Perry, for mentioning us on Flo Racing, we know everyone has choices about where they race, and we wish them the best of luck wherever they might go.
He would finish second in the rookie battle in 2024 and first in the championship battle in 2025 in LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks Tyler Fellows was able to keep his speed up in time trials and loose only two points of his lead in the points battle over John Fields. Fellows won the feature and the championship by three points with Matt Pike coming home to victory lane in second and Keith Mansur in third. Fields and Josh Bussino completed the top five.
Kevin LaForest might have won the battle, but he lost the war in the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat Ridge Runners, on his attempt to have back-to-back crowns and which would have been his third at the Ridge. He would set fast time and be on rails as he held off Ryan Sayers who fell short of grabbing his fifth win of the season taking home second with your 2025 division champion Zach Audet holding on to come home in third. This will be Audet’s first crown at the Ridge, having competed on and off over the past decade. When he was able to run a full season, he scored two top fives in the overall points standings, with this year being the one where he made it all the way to the top. Katie Burroughs, with her best overall season, comes home in fourth with Riley Chaffee rounding out the top five.
The DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds, DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes and LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks got to show off their crews to the fans. The ever-popular growler events for feature winners has grown from just the mods and coupes to now the dirt stocks and there were three drivers from the sportsman mod limited that had their own mini growler (raced with the dirt stocks) Before the events started each division’s non-winners for the year had one more chance to qualify. In the DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds the LCQ winner was Matt Lashua and in the DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes the LCQ was Jason Horniac. The MGE Enterprises DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds pit crew/driver winner was Matt Lashua and in the DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes Jason Gray. In the LaValley Building Supplies the winner was Keith Mansur and in the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Mods Limited it was Bryan King./
The Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro series as always put on a great show for the fans with fires flips and spills to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. At the end of 75 laps slowed only twice with a red flag Doug Boucher in his first run in 2025 is the survivor of the fittest with Ryan Sayers doing double duty coming home in second and Tim Colby in third. Nick Potwin and Kelly Miller Jr rounded out the top five. The Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro series return for their final points event on Sunday October 12 for Sunday-Funday.
