Feature winners of the 58th consecutive season race week ten Dennis “Dad” Preston Memorial Davids House Benefit Night were Max Dolliver Feature One winner, Evan Kingsbury Feature Two winner, Jason Gray Feature Three winner: overall for MADNESS Victory Lane Jason Gray, Ashton Pierson & Thomas Placey in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Cooper Hodge in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; Michael Danforth in the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modifieds Limited; Chris Murray in the Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets; Tim Higgins in the High Country Dispensary Late Models; Matt Pike in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks; and Kevin LaForest in the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat Ridge Runners.
It was MADNESS night for the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds with over $10,000 in lap and purse money on the line. Feature one was brought to the green by Jason Gray by virtue of securing the most laps. Max Dolliver was able to get by Gray for the lead and score the first feature win. The field was set from the first feature result of all cars on track inverted, giving Evan Kingsbury the point and the opportunity to hold of the field for the feature two win. Mayhem ensued in feature three with madness sinking into the helmets of drivers but when the dust settled Jason Gray was feature three winner and would also be the madness winner with 12 points. Ashton Pierson is scored in 2nd with 21 points and his second-place position with Thomas Placey in third with 21 points and his third place finish. Cooper Hodge is the third points contender to get his first win in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes. Going into the night Hodge was tied for the points lead with veteran Terry Williams and the two battled it out for most of the race. A late race mishap would see Williams going pit side with damage to his car unable to return, allowing Hodge to breath a little deeper as he cruised on for the win. Cody Gregoropoulos would get by the living legend Bob Shepard for second, with Shepard taking home the final victory lane spot. Showing he still has what it takes to get the job done. Todd Buckwold and Richy Sanville rounded out the top five.
Damon Jillson had his best finish of the season falling just one spot short of victory lane, while edging his way up the leader board in the points standings. He led the first five laps before succumbing to Michael Danforth who would be recorded as your winner. Travis Shinn was unable to get close enough to Danforth to set a challenge for the lead, settling for the second-place spot with Wayne Stearns last week’s feature winning coming home in third. Jillson and Bryan King completed the top five.
Nikki Ouellete is slowly but surely getting her feet back underneath her in the Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets scoring a heat win and a top five finish the best for her in 2025. We will definitely see her back in victory lane before the season is over. Chris Murray will be the big winner of the night recording his second win of the season keeping him just enough ahead of Will Hull, the only other driver to be a repeat winner. Will would come home in third with Daniel Piastka splitting the pair taking home second. Ouellete is fourth with John Forlano rounding out the top five.
In the High-Country Dispensaries Late Models going into midseason championships next week will see the top spot a tie for the points battle with Kelly Miller and Scott Heath, Heath is still struggling to get his first win, but is holding his own on consistent weekly finishing, keeping him on top of the leader board. This night neither driver would make it to victory lane. Tim Higgins would score his second win of the season beating out Mark Cole who made it to the bridesmaid position the second time this year. Chad McAlpine joined the pair in victory lane crossing the line in third. Heath and Miller completed the top five.
In the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks Keith Mansur went from the penthouse to the outhouse after mayhem broke out on the next to last race. After working his way up to front he would find himself facing traffic the wrong way in turn three and his trip to victory lane becomes just a dream. When the dust settled calm and cool Matt Pike would capture his first win of the season with Josh Bussino capitalizing on the fracas to come home in second. Mike McClay was able to hold on to a victory lane spot coming home third. John Fields and Jon Porter rounded out the top five.
Kevin LaForest is finally able to get back on top in the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat of Woodsville Ridge Runners with his second win so far this season. Getting thru lapped traffic he was able to beat Zach Audet, who crossed the line in second and rookie Lucas Balch who had his best finish of the season coming home in third, the final victory lane spot. Ryan sayers and Jason Porter completed the top five.
Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro Series will return to action on July 26, 2025.
Coming up this Saturday July 12th it is Red’s Auto Spa Mid-Season double points Championship night for the 95.3 107.1 The Wolf weekly racing series divisions Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Wells River Chevrolet-part of the Auto Saver Group DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modifieds Limited, High Country Dispensary Late Models, LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, and the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat of Woodsville Ridge Runners. Plus visiting R.E. Hinkley Granite State Mini Sprints.
The general admission (front gate) ticket for adults is $15.00, seniors $13.00, teens $13.00 and children 11 and under $2.00. Teens and children must be with a paying adult. Military Discounts are available at $5.00 off for those with a valid ID.
The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2025 license holders is $30.00. Non-license holders are $35.00 (both prices include the front gate ticket.)
