With the waving of the green on the 100 lap Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds Jason Gray is going in the record books as the first driver to win four division championships in a row. Ending the season as the champion wasn’t quite enough for Gray as he wanted to take home it all. He set fast time in time trials won the Modifieds Growler event and won the 100 lap main event saying I can have my cake and eat it too! Josh Sunn comes home in second with Max Dolliver, your runner up in the points standings taking third. Todd Buckwold and Robert Tucker rounded out the top five.

The Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes put on the show of the night going fifty laps green to checkers. Lapped traffic would be the demise of Bob Shepard who looking poised to win his second in a row. Shepard would get stuck behind the lapped traffic just long enough for Todd Hayward to get by him on lap 36 and shoot his way to the checkers first, his second win of the season. Shepard held on for second with your 2023 Track Champion Tim Hodge crossing the line in third, joining the pair in victory lane. Terry Williams and Josh Harrington rounded out the top five.

The final event for the 2023 Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets was a three segment event with Justin Sheridan taking home the win for the first and third segments and Chris Murray the second segment. The overall combined points and finish have Sheridan on top beating out Will Hull and Manny Dias. Chris Murray, your 2023 division champion and Rookie of the year finished fourth with Ethan Derosia taking home fifth.

The High-Country Dispensary Late Models ended the season on September 16th. The top five will next be recognized at our annual awards ceremony on Friday November 10th at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee VT.

Mike McClay gets one more win for the season in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, as he can show up on the 23rd and just have some plain old fun. Fitzgerald with his third-place finish has secured his first championship at the Ridge. He joined Mike McClay who won the battle of the night to take home the checkers and Garrett Brown who crossed the line in second in victory lane. Shawn King and Pat Wheeler completed the top five.

Spencer Braley stamped his ticket to his first championship by not only winning the war but winning the battle by scoring his 4th win of the season in the Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners. Spencer beat out last weeks winner Daegan Spinks and your runner out points winner Travis King for the win. Cameron Kenny and Logan Martin completed the top five.

Kevin LaForest gets the win in the Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro. Coming from deep in the pack he methodically worked his way to the front of the pack and with Duke Maxwell who finished in second would be the only two to make it 75 laps around the famed quarter mile clay oval. Jacob Hall-Larson and Trevor Mears finished third and fourth one lap down with Jason Porter crossing the line in fifth two laps down. The Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro series has one more points event on Sunday Funday before their king or queen can be crowned.

This concludes our regular 99 Rock weekly racing series events. But don’t despair there is still one more action-packed event scheduled at the Ridge on Sunday October 8th when we host our 7th annual SUNDAY~FUNDAY. On hand will be the Joe Mama’s 4/6 Cylinder Enduro series with their final points event of the season. Plus, the ever popular 4 cylinder and 6/8-cylinder demolition derbies. In addition, we will have the WYKR Due Enduro man & woman team event, and the R.E. Hinkley Granite State Mini Sprints. The racing action starts at 1:00pm with pit gates opening at 8:30 grandstands at 11:00.

Remember in today's society we could all use a little more family entertainment, and the Ridge is your best place to be for just that. The admission price is more than reasonable; the show top-notch, the food superior, and the family friendly atmosphere is just what you are looking for!

The price of this SPECIAL show general admission (front gate) ticket for adults, seniors, and teens is $15.00 a person, and children 11 and under WITH a paying Adult $2.00. Military Discounts are available at $2.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price will be $35.00 (price includes the front gate ticket.)
