Week 13 of the 56th consecutive season of racing at the Ridge the 5th Saturday in 2023 a wash out.

The FIFTH Saturday of the season sponsored by Montshire Farms succumbs to rain.

Even when watching the weather Radars closely you can’t predict the day. Blue skies in the morning and early afternoon and a less than 20 percent chance of rain said we were going to go for it. And as quick as wink the percentages went up and then down and then back up again. Windows of opportunity opened and then closed. Finally, at about 6:30 pm and torrential rains we were forced to pull the plug on the nights activities even with a window predicted to open after 8:00pm. This is the fifth Saturday, fourth event lost to mother nature of our 56th year of racing. Management will work with the sponsor Montshire Farms to get them back at a later date. Management is also working with DIRTcar reps to try to get the Series race back on the schedule.

We just want to send out a HUGE thank you to those of you who made the trip and stuck with us yesterday. With the RADARs (Yes to you neh sayers we DO Monitor closely) going from one extreme percentage of rain to the other, and having lost four events already this year, we wanted to make sure we sincerely gave it our best shot to get the show in. If there was going to be a window, we wanted to be there to take it. At the end of the day mother nature won again.

For those of you who did come out in the rain please keep your ticket stubs or wrist bands to get in this week.

Enduro teams, please save your wrist bands and we will honor them when you return on August 26th.

Again, we thank each and every one of you who hoped we would get it in and made the trip. It is because of you why we continue to do this. We will see you mother nature willing this Saturday August 5th.

The Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro rained out.

Coming up this Saturday August 5th is a regular full card of for the 99Rock weekly Racing Series divisions with the Sabil and Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes with their MADNESS, the High Country Dispensary Late Models, LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, and the Woodsville Power Equipment Ridger Runners. Plus when visiting the Ridge the R.E. Hinkley Granite State Mini Sprints. The Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets are off.

Remember in today's society we could all use a little more family entertainment, and the Ridge is your best place to be for just that. The admission price is more than reasonable; the show top-notch, the food superior, and the family friendly atmosphere is just what you are looking for!

The price of a regular show general admission (front gate) ticket for adults (ages 17 to 61) is $12.00 a person. Seniors 62 and older $10.00. Teens 12 to 16 WITH a paying adult $10.00, and children 11 and under WITH a paying Adult $2.00. Military Discounts are available at $2.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2023 license holders is $30.00. Non-license holders are $35.00 (both prices include the front gate ticket.)

Bear Ridge Speedway is as an alcohol-free family friendly entertainment spot, with our goal to make each experience at the Ridge better than the last. We continue to offer the best source of good inexpensive high-quality entertainment for families.
