The local boys would be the ones to “get r done”, with Josh Sunn setting fast time at 14.798 seconds. Sunn capitalized on that speed to win his heat race and be a part of the redraw for the feature. His lucked continued as he reached in first for the pole position chip and pulled it out of the bucket. After the impressive four wide pace laps the field took the green twenty-seven strong. Only three cautions slowed the pace, giving Sunn the opportunity to keep the point. Matt Lashua crossed the line in second with Jason Gray taking the final victory lane spot. Kevin Chaffee and Jeremy Huntoon completed the top five.
The track and Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds wish to thank all the drivers and teams that made the longer than their normal weekly trek to the Ridge to help make this show a huge success!

The USAC DMA Midgets were back in town with a strong field of sixteen machines. Before the green two would fall to mechanical problems leaving the starting grid at fourteen. Seth Carlson came from deep in the field taking over the point on lap seven when Justin Sheridan and Brando Piastka connected giving Carlson the opportunity to take the lead and sail on for his second win of the season. Carlson beat out Josh Sunn who ran out of time to set a challenge for the lead, and Will Hull who crossed the line in third. Daniel Piastka and Danny Dias rounded out the top five.
