The Dennis Preston Builder David’s House Benefit Night feature winners of the 55th consecutive racing season in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds was Mike Ryan, Tim Hodge in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; USAC DMA Midgets OFF, Matt Lashua in the R&L Auto Towing and Recovery Late Models, Jesse Dunham in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks; Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners Feature #1 Jacob Joslin Feature #2 Spencer Braley. Visiting Granite State Mini Sprints 500cc Josh Boissoneau and Caiden Herbert in the 600cc.

It took Mike Ryan 9.46.298 minutes to go from green to checkers to get his first win of the season in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds. Coming from mid pack he was able to make the outside work as he got to the front and held off TC Forward who crossed in second and Jeremy Huntoon who may have gotten the monkey off his back with his first visit to victory lane taking third. Todd Buckwold and Robert Tucker rounded out the top five.

It looked like it was going to be another green to checkers event when the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes made it all the way to four laps to go before the caution was brought out, taking away the lead Tim Hodge had built up coming from deep in the pack. Hodge was able to hold of Tad Kingsbury and Ricky Sanville on the restart to go on for the win with Kingsbury and Sanville crossing the line second and third behind hiem. Jeremy Hodge last week’s feature winner takes home fourth with Josh Harrington taking fifth.

The USAC DMA Midgets were off, their next event at the Ridge is.

Matt Lashua grabs his fourth win of the season in the R & L Auto Towing & Recovery Late Models, once again beating out Ryan Christian who came home second, and Parker Piper who crosses the line in third. Kelly Miller Sr and Matt Pike rounded out the top five.

Jesse Dunham beats out Lucas Wheeler at the line to score his first win of the season in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks. Mike Mann after a string of bad luck was able to get part of that monkey off his back and claim the third victory lane spot. Garrett Brown and Kaleb Shepard rounded out the top five.

Another winner is added to the list as Jacob Joslin gets the win in the Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners in feature number one, crossing the line ahead of Westley Blake and Dilyn Switser. Kevin Keene takes home fourth and Mike Paton had a great run finishing in fifth. In the second feature Spencer Braley was able to beat out Devon Spinks for the win his second of the season. Spinks would settle for the third and final victory lane spot with Logan Martin grabbing the second-place honors. Tom Brown and Hayden Bishop completed the top five.

Coming up this Saturday July 9th Bear Ridge Speedway Kids Bike Races.  Sponsored by Twin State Ford will feature the 99Rock weekly racing series divisions the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, R&L Auto Towing & Recovery Late Models with their MADNESS, LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, and Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners.

The price of a regular show general admission (front gate) ticket for adults (ages 17 to 61) is $12.00 a person and children 11 and under $2.00. Teens 12 to 16 and seniors 62 and older is $10.00. Military Discounts are available at $2.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2022 license holders is $30.00. Non-license holders are $35.00 (both prices include the front gate ticket.)

Bear Ridge Speedway is as an alcohol-free family friendly entertainment spot, with our goal to make each experience at the Ridge better than the last. We continue to offer the best source of good inexpensive high-quality entertainment for families.  Please stay safe and be kind to others!
