Josh Bussino gets his first win in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks
Travis Burroughs and Travis King get their first wins in the Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners
Event six of the 55th consecutive season of racing at the Ridge.

The JTB Towing & Recovery feature winners of the 55th consecutive racing season were Jason Gray in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds; Cody Gregoropoulos in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; USAC DMA Midgets OFF, R&L Auto Towing and Recovery Late Models Ryan Christian, LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks Josh Bussino; Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners Feature #1 Travis Burroughs Feature #2 Travis King, Sting Vintage Race Cars “Buster Kathan 13 Lap” Semi Feature #m7 Chris Murray.
It was all Richie Simmons for the thirty-five-lap main event in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds. Simmons took over the lead on lap five and looked poised to win his first feature of the year, and get the monkey off his back, as the white flag waved everyone was on the edge of their seats as the 00 of Jason Gray coming out of turn four got by Simmons to beat him to the checkers by .008 hundreds of a second stealing the win. A huge disappointment for Simmons, but one heck of a race, he will definitely get that win before the year is over. Joining him in victory lane in the final spot was Ryan Christian. Mike Ryan and Matt Lashua rounded out the top.
Cody Gregoropoulos gets his second win of the season in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes fending off the hard-fought challenges of Jason Horniac and Thomas Placey. Horniac was able to hold of Placey for second. Ali Pushee is making his way up the chart finishing just one spot short of victory lane in the fourth-place position with Tad Kingsbury taking home fifth.
The USAC DMA Midgets and will return to Ridge on Saturday July 2nd.
Ryan Christian gets his third win in the R & L Auto Towing & Recovery Late Models beating out Matt Lashua and Todd Dunham. JP Vaillancourt here for some fun crossed the line in fourth, but Parker Piper will get that position in the official finish with Tyler Tremblay rounding out the top five.
In the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, coming from deep in the pack Josh Bussino was able to weave his way thru traffic, take the lead early and cruise on to his first win of the season. Along the way Jesse Dunham fell in behind him as Bussino cleared the path for him to cross the line in second. Your final victory lane position went to Chris Murray. Dustin Towle and Lucas Wheeler completed the top five.
If your name is Travis, then this was your night in the Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners. The first feature saw Travis Burroughs back in a Ridge Runner and it took him no time to prove this is where he belongs. Burroughs came from mid pack to take the checkers first, beating out Blake Bucellato who crossed in second and his wife Katie Burroughs who took the final victory lane spot of third. Cary Hunter and Devin Bell rounded out the top five. The second feature had another Travis taking the win as Travis King was final able to make it happen scoring his first win of a feature for the year. King with several heat wins so far this year has been patently waiting to get the big one and be the star in victory lane. He gets it done in fine fashion with Hayden Bishop and Spencer Braley joining him, finishing in second and third respectfully. Kevin LaForest and Devin Spinks rounded out the top five in this feature.

The price of a regular show general admission (front gate) ticket for adults (ages 17 to 61) is $12.00 a person and children 11 and under $2.00. Teens 12 to 16 and seniors 62 and older is $10.00. Military Discounts are available at $2.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2021 license holders is $30.00. Non-license holders are $35.00 (both prices include the front gate ticket.)
