The 2017 racing season is almost here - Anticipation is high

BRADFORD, VT – Anticipation is high for the kick off of the 2017 50th season of racing at Bear Ridge Speedway racing on Saturday May 6th.

But before we get there it is off to the Fireside Inn in West Lebanon for our 16th annual Upper Valley car show on Saturday April 29th from 10:00 to 1:00. Following the car show, weather permitting, for the cars that were a part of the car show we will be having a test and tune session at the Ridge.

Then it is a week of tweaking for the drivers as they make the final adjustments on their machines before the 50th waving of the green at the Ridge on May 6th. The day will start with the car show located in the field between Bradford Mini Mart/NAPA FMS Auto Parts from 10:00 to 1:00. Then there is another round of practice followed by the green at 5:30 pm(ish).

Two new sponsors will be featured in 2017.  CA Miller Inc, quality plumbing, heating and electrical of Elkins NH has signed on as a sponsor of the Limited Late Models. CA Miller joins the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes, Laquerre’s Sports USAC DMA Midgets, and the Weglarz Property Service Four Cylinders. All five divisions will be on hand for completion on opening night.

The second sponsor to join the Bear Ridge Family is State Farm Ins Mike Estrada who will be joining us as the 4/6 Cylinder Enduro Series Sponsor. Five races are set for 2017 and if car counts from last year are any indication these five events are sure to be filled with edge of your seat action packed excitement!

The 2017 Bear Ridge Speedway 99ROCK WFRD weekly racing series will consist of the Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds, as well as the Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes, Laquerre’s Sports USAC DMA Midgets, CA Miller Inc Limited Late Models, and the Weglarz Property Service Four Cylinders. In addition, the State Farm Ins. Mike Estrada 4/6 Cylinder Enduros will be seen five times, the WYKR Sprint Cars of New England are scheduled for ten visits, the new Wingless Sprints for five, and the Granite State Mini Sprints for eight

Season passes are available for general admission. Adults is $180.00, Seniors and Teens $150.00.

Bear Ridge Speedway is as an alcohol free family friendly entertainment spot, with our goal to make each experience at the Ridge better than the last. Bear Ridge Speedway is located off exit 16 of I91 on to rte 25 west 1 mile to South Road up the hill to Kidder Rd.

The 2017 Bear Ridge Speedway season opens on May 6th at 5:30 a bit earlier than our famous “6:00-ish” start time.
