VIETS TAKES BEAR RIDGE DMA MIDGET, SCHRADER 3RD

Bradford, VT……..Scott Viets of East Granby, Conn. won Saturday night’s abbreviated 24-lap USAC DMA Midget feature at Bear Ridge Speedway. He passed Mike Chaffee on lap 13 and was leading when Dlan Duhaime flipped on the final lap of the race. The race was declared complete with Adam Pierson finishing second, NASCAR star Ken Schrader third, Tim Hodge fourth and Chaffee fifth. The race offered “double” series points.
