44-POINT DMA CUSHION FOR PIERSON ENTERING SATURDAY
Only Scott Holcomb’s victory on May 17 has kept Adam Pierson from an unblemished record so far this year in the DMA Midget series at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. This Saturday night he’ll try for a fourth feature win in five outings at the quarter-mile dirt oval.
Pierson’s point lead has blossomed to 44 points as a result of his three wins and second place. Josh Sunn, who has a pair of seconds and a fourth and fifth in the four races so far, is the series runner-up at present.
Defending two-time series champion Joe Krawiec ranks third in the latest standings with a third and a fourth in the four events.
