Event sixteen of the 55th consecutive season of racing at the Ridge.

For Immediate Release BRS-08272022-1

The Dead River Co feature winners of the 55th consecutive racing season in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds was Todd Buckwold, Tad Kingsbury in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; USAC DMA Midgets Brandon Piastka, the R&L Auto Towing and Recovery were OFF, the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks Lucas Wheeler; Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners Jason Porter. Danny Doyle in the Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro
Another winner is added to the winner’s circle as Todd Buckwold gets his first win of the season in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds. Buckwold was able to hold off Matt Lashua who crossed the line tight behind him in second and Robert Tucker who came home in third Kyle Huntington and Melvin Pierson rounded out the top five.
With only four weeks left to the regular weekly racing at the Ridge Tad Kingsbury is looking poised to earning his third championship in a row as he sits on top the leader board with a solid hundred-point advantage over second place Tim Hodge, after he scores his fifth win of the season. Kingsbury beat out Jason Horniak for the win. A photo finish for third had Matt Ellsworth beating out Brian Lakin for the final victory lane spot. Lakin is scored in fourth with Cody Gregoropoulos completing the top five.
The USAC DMA Midgets saw the red flag after Josh Sunn went for a wild ride out of the track, in virtually the same place he did six years ago. Sunn would be transported for observation, and everyone’s thoughts and prayers are with Josh and his wife Chelsea and family. We all wish him a speedy return home! When racing action resumed, Brandon Piastka would get by brother Daniel with just four laps to go to get his second win of the season. Brother Daniel held on for second with Seth Carson taking third. Justin Sheridan and Nikkie Ouellette rounded out the top five.
The R & L Auto Towing & Recovery Late Models were off and will return to action on September 3rd.

Lucas Wheeler continues to dominate in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks as he sets his sights on his first championship in the division. Having been one of the original drivers to help start the division, he is anxious and ready to claim the crown, and so far, continues to do it all right on his quest to get there. Tonight, he beat out Chris Murray and Mike Mann who crossed behind him in second and third. Mike McClay and Garrett Brown completed the top five.

Jason Porter back on the scene dominates for his third win in the Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners coming from the last starting point on the grid. He beat out Dilyn Switser who looked poised to win but a late race caution bunched up the field giving Porter the chance he needed to get to the front. Switser held on for second with Hayden Bishop coming home third. Shane Stygles and Katie Burroughs rounded out the top five.

Danny Doyle beats out Jeremiah Little for the win in the Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro. Keith Benoit is scored in third with Trevor Mears and Ryan Sayers your current points leader rounded out the top five.
