Tad Kingsbury gets his first win for 2020 in the DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes Ryan Christian scores the win in the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models

For Immediate Release BRS-082220-1

Feature winners for the Dead River night at the Ridge: Jason Gray in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Tad Kingsbury in the DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, Seth Carlson in the USAC DMA Midgets, Ryan Christian in the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models, Lucas Wheeler in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stockers, Jason Porter in the Peanuts Auto Four Cylinders, Tom Chaffee in the Granite State 500cc’s and Anthony MarVuglio the Granite State 600cc’s.
Jason Gray extends his point lead with his sixth win of the season in the DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds It apparently doesn’t matter what track conditions are as he once again was the car to watch coming from deep in the field. Gray captures his sixth win with Jordan Fornwalt coming home in second trying to figure out what he has to do to beat him. DJ Robinson crossed the line in third with his best finish of the season. Mike Dunn and Matt Lashua completed the top five.
Tad Kingsbury is the seventh feature winner in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes coming from the fifth starting position to beat out Tyler Stygles who bobbled late in the race giving the lead up to Kingsbury. Stygles was able to hold on to second and Thomas Placey joined the pair in victory lane coming home in third. Melvin Pierson and Cody Gregoropoulous rounded out the top five.
Seth Carlson extends his lead in the points standings in the USAC DMA Midgets with his third win of the season, while last year’s champ Will Hull continues to scratch his head as he struggles with getting mechanical consistency from his machine. Hull with three wins as well, is struggling to keep the car handling the way he needs it, and a wild ride early in the race took him out of contention. Manny Diaz and Justin Sheridan joined Carlson in victory lane, with Justin Phillips and Adam Whitney completing the top five.
In the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models it only took Ryan Christian three attempts before he was back on top beating out John Neddo to the checkers with George Osgood in tow, claiming the final victory lane pot. Tyler Tremblay and Matt Piper completed the top five.
In the LaValley’s Building Supply Dirt Stockers Lucas Wheeler gets another win over Todd Dunham and Troy Prentice finished second and third joining him in victory.
Jason Porter ties the battle again for the wins in the Peanuts Auto Four Cylinders with Buddy Welch getting his fourth of the season. Having to work thru a full field of traffic Porter made his way to the front with Welch tight on his heals who fell one spot short crossing the line in second. Garrett Brown takes the final victory lane spot. Allan Birch and Rick Stygles were the lucky ones completing the top five
A special tribute was give to former GSMS support Lenny West with the Lenny West Memorial, both divisions took to the track together to do a four wide salute lap in his honor. Tom Chaffee gets the win in the 500cc with son Riley crossing line behind him in second and Carson Williams in third. In the 600’s Anthony MarVuglio gets the win over Dave Bodio and Kyle Gisleson.
