For Immediate Release BRS-06072025-1
While we are still struggling to get in a “normal night of racing” we can say we are getting closer to having an event not impacted by the weather. Two features from the Valley Floors of Bradford night had to be postponed till next week due to FOG making driving conditions unsafe for our competitors.
Feature winners of the 58th consecutive season race week six sponsored by Valley Floors of Bradford were FOG in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds; Jason Gray in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; FOG in the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modifieds Limited; the Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets were OFF; in the High Country Dispensary Late Models Kelly Miller; in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks John Fields; and in the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat Ridge Runners Segment one winner Nathen Sargent Segment two winner Zach Audet Segment 3 winner Kevin LaForest Overall winner Zach Audet. The visiting R.E. Hinkley Granite State Mini Sprints 500cc winner was Adam Flewelling, and 600cc winner was Teagan Daignault.
In the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds the winner will have to wait another day to claim the checkers, as FOG set in on lap one causing a halt to the event resulting in no laps completed. They will run their Valley Floors of Bradford feature first on June 14th before the regular night events begin.
Rob Williams looked like he might just get his first win in the Wells River Chevrolet-part of the Auto Saver Group DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes leading just over half the laps before Jason Gray got by him on lap eighteen and set sail for the checkers. Terry Williams advanced to the second-place podium spot with Todd Buckwold joining the two for the final trophy spot. Buckwold and Gray continue to raise the bar for the regular drivers competing for the championship in this division, offering some great learning opportunities for the contenders. Michael Danforth and Jason Horniak rounded out your top five.
The Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modified Limited were also FOGGED out and will run complete their Valley Floors of Bradford feature first on June 14th before the regular night events begin.
The Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets were off and will return to action on June 14th.
The High-Country Dispensaries Late Models had a hand full of cars to put on a show for the crowd. Kelly Miller gets his win and sets his sights on another championship with Mark Cole having a great run coming home in second and Scott Heath in third. Chad McAlpine and Josh Bussino rounded out your top five.
John Fields was able to come from mid pack in the LaValley Building Supply to redeem his less than satisfactory results from the last time at the track with a feature win. Driving a new car with his late father’s paint scheme, it was an emotional finish for all. Dana Carter and Tyler Fellows put on one hell of a battle for second with Carter holding on at the line for second making Fellows settle for third. Derrick Stearns and Mike McClay completed the top five.
It was MADNESS night for the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat Ridge Runners with over $4000.00 on the line in lap and purse money. Kevin LaForest would bring the first of three segments to the green. LaForest would fall to second giving the first segment win to Nathen Sargent. LaForest scored second with Zach Audet third. Segment two set from an invert from segment one had Spencer Braley bringing the field to the green. Braley would fall out of the top five when the checkers waved. Zach Audet scores the second win with Doug Kenny second and Cody Vanguilder third. Segment three again from an invert of segment two had David Hunt your pole sitter. Hunt would have one of his best finishes in the division crossing the line in second behind Kevin LaForest, with Katie Burroughs coming home in third. Your overall top five based on combined finishes of the three segments was Zach Audet with 8 points, Kevin LaForest with 13 points, Nathen Sargent with 14, Katie Burroughs 16, and Doug Kenny with 16. The tie broken by the final segment finish.
The R.E. Hinkley Granite State Mini Sprints were finally able to hit the clay after their first event of the season rained out. Thirty machines were on hand to put on a show for the fans, with plenty of thrills and spills. In the 500cc class Adam Flewelling would beat out veteran Ed Vickery for the win with jake Wolf joining the pair on the podium in third. Jacson Davis and David Greenslit rounded out the top five. In the 600cc class Teagan Daignault was able to score the win with Josh Ball and Cody Willette joining him on the podium in that order. Richard Potter and Jacob Green completed the top five. The R.E. Hinkley Granite State Mini Sprints will return to the Ridge on July 12th.
