Bear Ridge Speedway “the fastest dirt track in Vermont” is proud to announce the new event being added to the 2020 line up. DIRTcar Northeast is adding the “East Region Series” for the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds. The Ridge will be hosting the the first event of four on May 9th. Additional races will be held at Utica Rome, Albany Saratoga and Glen Ridge. Promoters C.V. “Butch” and April May are very excited to be able to be a part of this series with the hosting of an event, and know that several of the Ridge drivers will be strong contendors for the overall championship of this series. For the 2020 sponsor line up “99ROCK wfrd” is back as Bear Ridge Speedway’s weekly racing series sponsor, Chris is very excited to be returning to Ridge and looks forward to promoting the best weekly racing in the region!
Along with the return of the series sponsor the following division sponsors are signing on once again:
Sabil & Sons will be billed as the premier sponsor with their name waving on the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds. Sabil & Sons has had a long relationship with the Ridge, and still is proud to be the sponsor of the Old Timers race night and lap counter sponsor.

Wells River Chevrolet will be returning as the sponsor of the other premier division featured at the Ridge, the DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes. These two divisions will once again be sanctioned by DIRTcar and are setting up to offer some great racing action for the fans.
Everyone knows that the Sportsman Coupes are the exclusive signature division of the Ridge, having been born and raised here, and we are looking forward to a strong car count once again in 2020. Will their numbers exceed 20 on a weekly basis as they have in the Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds? Mark your calendars for every Saturday night starting May 2nd to find out for yourself!
C.A. Miller will once again be sponsoring the Limited Late Models, with Peanut’s Auto LLC of Canaan returning as the sponsor of the Four Cylinder Division. We are also very pleased to have State Farm Mike Estrada on board again for the 4/6 Cylinder monthly Enduros.
Everyone is anxious to see the 2020 season, the Ridge’s 53rd consecutive to kick into gear on May 2nd, you will be able to hear April May and Butch as they join Stephen John once again for all the highlights of Bear Ridge Speedway from the week before and what is coming up every Friday morning from 6:45 to 7:00 on WYKR.
Season passes are available for general admission. Adults is $200.00, seniors and teens $160.00. Season pass holders will benefit from being able to enter the grand stands fifteen minutes before the gates are open at 3:00 to the rest of the public.
2020 driver and crew membership applications are now available on the website. Be sure to get yours sent in early to beat the lines on opening day. To be eligible for the Bear Ridge Speedway points fund, and recognized at the annual awards banquet, drivers must hold a 2020 Bear Ridge Speedway or DIRTcar license, compete in the required number of events and run on track designated tires as indicated in the rule book.
The price of a regular show general admission (front gate) ticket for adults (ages 17 to 61) is $10.00 a person and children 11 and under $2.00. Teens 12 to 16 and seniors 62 and older is $8.00. Military Discounts are available at $2.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2020 license holders is $25.00. Non-license holders are $30.00 (both prices are in addition to the front gate ticket.)
The 2020 kid’s club membership is only $12.00 (one time fee) per child, infant to 11 years old, ($10.00 with front gate ticket stub), and once you are a member you get in free the rest of the season!
Bear Ridge Speedway is as an alcohol-free family friendly entertainment spot, with our goal to make each experience at the Ridge better than the last. We continue to offer the best source of good inexpensive high-quality entertainment for families.
Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Racing begins at the famous “6:00-ish” start time every Saturday starting in May thru September.
