Bradford, Vt. February 10, 2008
2008 will see the return of the Ridge Runner Hornet Queens on a monthly basis. The “Queens” did such a great job in 2007 that it was only natural for their return to happen in 2008. The Queens are set to run on May 31st, June 28th, July 26th, August 30th, with their championship night being held the same night as the A Notch Above IMCA Mods on September 13th. In addition regular scheduled smoke shows and drags will be seen, so be sure to check out the schedule to see when you can bring in your car to show your skills!
With the waving of the green flag on the Daytona 500, racing fever throughout New England will kick into gear. First up for the 2008 season will be the car shows. As for the past twenty plus years, you will once again find the cars from the Ridge on hand at the Racing Expo (formally known as Race-a-Rama) being held February 29th thru March 2nd in Springfield Ma at the Big E. To get your glimpse of some of the cars competing for their divisional championships at the Ridge in 2008 be sure to make the trip to the ever popular Racing Expo at the Big E.
You will be able to see more of the cars and stars at other shows as we get closer to opening day May 10th so be sure to check the web site often to see where you can find a sighting of your favorite Ridge drivers and cars.
