A Notch Above Automotive signs on for another season as the divisional sponsor for the IMCA Mods at Bear Ridge Speedway in 2008.

The IMCA Modifieds are returning for their third season at the Ridge with the A Notch Above Auto as their title sponsor. A Notch Above located on Lower Pln Road in Bradford Vermont (802/222-5533) offers a large selection of used cars and trucks, at affordable pricing, sure to meet everyone’s needs. As with all our sponsors, be sure to patronize their businesses as often as you can, because without these fine sponsors we would not be able to provide you your best weekly entertainment at Bear Ridge Speedway. When it comes to Dirt racing, remember Every lap is the Last Lap!

Free day of general grandstand admission will be afforded our fans at the Ridge on our “Test and Tune” session which will be held on May 3^rd immediately after the Bear Ridge Speedway’s annual car show, at the Bradford Mini Mart.

Opening night for competition is scheduled for May 10^th sponsored by NAPA KDD of Bradford VT. On hand both days for the car show, test and tune, and returning for opening night the following week, will be all five divisions at the Ridge, including the Mekkelsen RV Sportsman Modifieds, Gilmour Ford Sportsman Coupe, A Notch Above IMCA Mods, the Journal Onion Fast Fours and the WYKR Ridge Runner Hornets.

The price of a general admission ticket will remain the same as it has over the past nine years for adults (ages 17 to 61) at $10.00 a person and children 11 and under as always free. Seniors and teens will also be the same rate as 2007 at $8.00 for teens 12 to 16 and seniors 62 and older. Season passes are available for general admission. Adults is $150.00, Seniors and Teens $130.00. Bear Ridge Speedway continues to offer the best source of good inexpensive high quality entertainment for families.

2008 membership and car owner applications are now available on line or by calling 603/222-4052. Be sure to get your applications in by March 1^st to get the reduced rate, and your car number if you are a driver. All numbers will be available on a first come first serve basis after March 1^st. 2008 rules have been sent to all registered 2007 drivers, and are available on the web or by calling the above number.

Bear Ridge Speedway is as an alcohol free family friendly entertainment spot, with our goal to make each experience at the Ridge better than the last. Remember “Dirt where every lap is the last lap”
