The Bear Ridge Speedway Fast Fours will once again be the Journal Opinion Fast Fours in 2008.

Journal Opinion located in Bradford VT is one of the local town business’s that has been a supporter of the Ridge for many years. We are very pleased that they will once again be a part of our weekly racing activities as the long standing divisional sponsor of the Fast Fours.

This year you will get to enjoy a free day of general grandstand admission on the Ridge’s “Test and Tune” session that will be held on May 3^rd immediately after the Bear Ridge Speedway’s annual car show, being held once again at the Bradford Mini Mart on the corners of Rte 5 and 25.

Opening night for competition is scheduled for one week later on May 10^th once again sponsored by NAPA KDD of Bradford VT. On hand both days for the car show, test and tune, and returning for opening night the following week, will be all five divisions at the Ridge, including the Mekkelsen RV Sportsman Modifieds, Gilmour Ford Sportsman Coupe, A Notch Above IMCA Mods, the Journal Onion Fast Fours and the WYKR Ridge Runner Hornets.

The price of a general admission ticket will remain the same as it has over the past nine years for adults (ages 17 to 61) at $10.00 a person and children 11 and under as always free. Seniors +and teens will also be the same rate as 2007 at $8.00 for teens 12 to 16 and seniors 62 and older. Bear Ridge Speedway continues to offer the best source of good inexpensive high quality entertainment for families.

2008 membership and car owner applications are now available on line or by calling 603/222-4052. Be sure to get your applications in by March 1^st to get the reduced rate, and your car number if you are a driver. 2008 rules have been sent to all registered 2007 drivers, and are available on the web or by calling the above number.

Bear Ridge Speedway is as an alcohol free family friendly entertainment spot, with our goal to make each experience at the Ridge better than the last. Remember “Dirt where every lap is the last lap”
